Blind-stitching machines ; work-supports.-In a blind-stitching machine, the work is pressed against the bending-roller p by a roller d mounted on a slide c, which is pressed forwards by a spring g. The work is supported on the underside by a spring plate n, slotted to permit the needle to pass, pivoted in the slide c at m, and pressed on to the work by a spring t. The roller d may be mounted in a plate vertically pivoted to the slide c or at v. It may be of reduced diameter in the middle. The slide may be withdrawn from the work-plate by a cam or otherwise.
